Female Japanese Motorbike Influencer Revealed To Be Middle-Aged Man

A Japanese influencer who posed as a young female motorcycle enthusiast has been revealed to in fact be a 50-year-old man.

The social media star @azusagakuyuki, who has almost 20K followers on Twitter, posts a number of photos of herself riding bikes around the country.

Selfies on the account show a motorcycle rider with feminine features, eye makeup and long red hair.

And while one would assume it is a young female in the images, a Japanese variety show has revealed it is in fact a middle-aged man with long hair.

The TV crew – which had clearly been tipped off – tracked down the motorcyclist and filmed the moment the helmet was taken off.

According to reports, @azusagakuyuki admitted to using apps like FaceApp and PhotoShop to modify images and give a feminine appearance.

Social media users have also have also found a series of ‘clues’ in previous posts, including the reflection in the side mirror.
