SBS Snares Audience 360’s Michael Sparsi For Victorian Digital Sales Role

SBS has announced the appointment of Michael Sparsi as digital sales manager, responsible for delivering SBS Media’s digital strategy in Victoria.

Reporting to Sam Spark, Victorian sales manager, SBS Media, Sparsi will be responsible for the development of SBS Media’s digital strategy and identifying new opportunities for advertiser and agency partners to strengthen the Victorian team’s sales proposition.

Sparsi brings more than 10 years’ experience to SBS, with previous positions at leading media organisations including Audience 360, Exponential, Fairfax Media and OMD.

Spark said of the appointment: “Michael brings strong experience in delivering value for clients and driving new opportunities within the Victorian market. He will play a key role for advertisers within the digital space as SBS Media continues to explore new ways to connect with Australia’s diverse communities.”

Sparsi added, “SBS holds a unique position in market as Australia’s most diverse media organisation.  and is going from strength to strength. I look forward to working with the SBS Media team to continue to create new opportunities for our advertisers and audiences across the SBS digital network.”

Sparsi’s appointment comes as SBS continues to strengthen its digital offering, with a new data management platform for SBS On Demand set to launch in 2019, with segmentation and demographic targeting as part of the programmatic buying platform.
