App Annie Announces New Managing Director For APAC

App market data and analytics company App Annie has announced the appointment of Cindy Deng as its new managing director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Deng joins App Annie with more than 18 years’ experience in enterprise IT, digital advertising, data analytics, and data management.

In her most recent role at Turn, she was responsible for the P&L, strategy and daily operations of the company’s APAC operations.

Bertrand Schmitt, CEO and co-founder of App Annie, said: “I have known Cindy for a long time and I am excited to have her lead our rapidly growing Asia-Pacific business and partner with our executive team to drive the next phase of growth at App Annie.

“From day one, we have had a keen focus on Asia Pacific, and the region currently accounts for more than 40 per cent of our global business.

“Drawing on her vast experience and leadership abilities will be key as we continue to scale and deepen our investment in a comprehensive solution, from our product suite and customer success to training and professional services.”

Commenting on her new role, Deng said: “From an industry perspective, we are at a tipping point of change as more brands turn to mobile.
