UK Digital Marketing Player Jaywing Launches Down Under

Listed UK data science marketing company Jaywing has announced its launch in Australia to fast-track local growth and expand its service offering.

The brand launch sees both a new website (jaywing.com.au) and new premises in North Sydney.

Jaywing, which has 700 employees worldwide, has steadily built its operations in Australia after acquiring a majority stake in search and digital media marketing agency Digital Massive in July 2016.

The purchase added to an existing presence Down Under following the acquisition of its UK search agency Epiphany Solutions in 2014.

Led by Digital Massive principals Tom Geekie and Chris Pittham (pictured above), Jaywing’s Australian division will offer a range of digital marketing solutions, including search engine optimisation, pay-per-click advertising, programmatic display advertising, analytics, conversion rate optimisation, design, and web development.

Jaywing works internationally with brands including Pepsi, Doritos, Toyota, and Castrol in addition to clients in Australia, including Wedgwood, Waterford Crystal, Tatts, Century 21, Creditcardcompare, and Campos.

Rob Shaw, CEO of Jaywing’s UK and Aussie operations, said the performance of the company’s core offering in Australia continues to be strong, and the time is right for Jaywing to broaden it to more closely reflect the breadth of its UK services.

“It will allow us to expand our digital marketing and data offering and capitalise on opportunities to service clients in both countries through a single, integrated approach,” he said.

“In Chris and Tom, we have two experienced leaders who have built a successful business, and understand how to leverage Jaywing’s creative and data science capabilities for our clients both in Australia and internationally.”

Pittham said he was delighted to be helping lead Jaywing’s Aussie launch.

“The opportunity to draw on some of the best data scientists in the business and access innovative digital marketing tools will allow us to continue growing our clients’ businesses,” he said.

Geekie added: “One of the things that attracted us to Jaywing is that their collaborative approach means everyone, whatever their specialism or geography, is focused on delivering the best outcomes for clients. We look forward to expanding our offer in Australia.”
