Harry Preston Appointed MD Of Ensemble Australia

IPG Mediabrands is announcing the appointment of Harry Preston as managing director of the group’s brand experience agency Ensemble.

He is currently general manager of Ensemble and his new leadership role follows the appointment of Melissa Fein to a wider IPG Mediabrands group role as CEO of Initiative Australia and Ensemble.

“Harry has been central to the successful reengineering of Ensemble since the beginning of this year,” said IPG Mediabrands CEO Danny Bass.

“He has led by example in the creation of breakthrough brand and experiential campaigns for clients.  I have no doubt that he will continue to sharpen Ensemble’s skills in this highly engaging area for brands.”

Melissa Fein said Preston’s appointment was a natural step in Ensemble’s progress. “Harry is a highly creative client and team leader and I am looking forward to working with him in this next phase for Ensemble.”

Preston has 16 years of multinational agency experience including stints in Europe, the USA and Australia covering media and technologies across multiple marketing categories. Prior to Ensemble he worked for creative agency Airborne and before that worked in a number of senior roles for FCB in London, Chicago and Sydney.

Preston said, “Ensemble has developed many highly creative and successful brand campaigns and experiences for clients like Nestle, LEGO, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation and KFC. I’m very excited to help drive its continued success.”
