Now’s Your Chance to buy Don Draper’s 1964 Chrysler Imperial And Floral Bedsheets
If you’ve a burning desire to score yourself a bit of Mad Med memorabilia, your dream is about to become a reality.
Screenbid, an auction site that specialises in the selling of movie and TV props, is auctioning off a number of illustrious items from AMC TV show Mad Men.
The auction goes live on June 1 and from the sample of props up for bidding on, there’s both big and small.
Say you just wanted a chair from head creative Don Draper’s office or Peggy’s typewriter, that’s on offer.
Or if you’ve envisioned yourself cruising around in Draper’s hot red 1964 Chryslar, that’s also up to buy.
The New York Post report many of the items – of which there will end up being 1500 for sale – are museum quality (in good condition, not dusty old decrepit things) and were previously in the Museum of the Moving Images in Queens, New York.
