Abbott Spoofed In Indiana Jones Send-Up

Abbott Spoofed In Indiana Jones Send-Up

It’s been a rather unpleasant past seven days for the former PM Tony Abbott and to add insult to injury he’s been parodied (yet again) in a marvellous send-up using footage from the original quartet of Indiana Jones films.

The work is by political satirist and motion graphics editor Huw Parkinson whose YouTube clips regularly appear on the ABC’s Insiders program.

Parkinson has previously used his editing skills to send up a number of Aussie pollies including Jackie Lambie in Ghostbusters, Clive Palmer in Arrested Development and Christopher Pyne in Star Wars.

In Parkinson’s latest creation, Abbott takes the role of intrepid adventurer Indiana Jones, while there are cameos for his ouster, Malcolm Turnbull, and controversial chief of staff, Peta Credlin.
