Thrive PR Shakes Up Executive Team

National independent PR agency, thrive pr + communications, has announced one of Thrive’s original founders, Louise Parris, has handed over the general manager (Melbourne) to take on a new national executive post as national business development director to further strengthen the agency’s business growth.

Long-standing Thriver, Kelly Stambanis (pictured above), will step across from her current position of national strategy director to take over the reigns as general manager (Melbourne).

The delivery of Thrive’s succession plan in Melbourne, complements a number of additional senior promotions. It comes off the back of client wins and extended agreements across both Sydney and Melbourne offices including SMB game changer Square, Coles Liquor,3M, VicHealth, CSIRO and Worksafe Victoria along with global video game publisher,Ubisoft.

“Louise Parris has been at the helm of Thrive Melbourne since returning to the business in 2013. Since that time she has overseen the recruitment and development of our talent, strengthened our client relationships and service offering, and has solidified Thrive’s position in the market, ” said Leilani Abels, managing director at Thrive.

“Kelly Stambanis joined Thrive as the company’s first PR consultant almost fifteen years ago. Over the last two decades in agency PR, she has led some of the Australia’s highest profile PR campaigns and has played a key role in Thrive’s success, helping to set the scene to propel the Melbourne operations,” Abels added.
