Adshel Appoints People And Performance Director

Outdoor advertising company Adshel has announced the appointment of Franck Appleby to the role of people and performance director responsible for spearheading Adshel’s investment in people and culture in Australia and New Zealand.

Appleby joins Adshel from Vodafone Australia where he has spent the last six years as a general manager, HR looking after HR service delivery and organisational development. He commenced at Adshel on 15 July and reports to Adshel’s CEO, Rob Atkinson.

Atkinson said: “We are delighted to have someone of Franck’s calibre leading and inspiring the Adshel HR team. His experience and knowledge in developing organisations’ leadership, cultures and business performances is second to none. With Franck’s expertise, Adshel will continue to establish strong performing teams, attracting and retaining the best in the business. Franck’s appointment will allow us to spearhead Adshel’s strong growth position as an innovator in the out-of-home industry in Australia and New Zealand.”

Appleby said: “The Australian and New Zealand out-of-home markets are showing significant growth so this is the perfect time to join one of the region’s leading out-of-home media providers and be tasked to further grow and strengthen the high performing teams and envied culture at Adshel.”

Appleby has over 15 years in people management within the telecommunications industry. Prior to Vodafone, he spent over six years at 3 Mobile where he was responsible for organisational and leading the design and delivery of initiatives to drive individual and organisational capability. He has also previously worked at Orange Mobile.
