To celebrate today’s ‘Vault’ release of the 1937 Walt Disney classic ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ on Blu-ray and DVD, this morning saw Disney team up with the incredible Sydney Symphony Orchestra to bring just a little bit of magic to those making their way to work.

Sydney commuters were treated to an impromptu performance by 14 talented members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, with the group descending on the Central Station Grand Concourse this morning.

Performing three songs from the film, including the classic and very appropriate “Heigh Ho” and “Whistle While You Work”, the SSO played for an hour, much to the delight of those passing by. The audience were also given ‘Snow White’ red apples and copies of the film on DVD to take home.

Today marks the release of the ever-popular ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ film from Disney’s ‘vault’, allowing a new generation of fans to enjoy this unforgettable story.

This timeless animated story now sparkles with a state-of-the-art digital restoration and exciting special features, with all of the much-loved characters back for all to enjoy.
