Deepend Flying High With RedBalloon Account Win

RedBalloon has engaged independent agency Deepend to be its long-term strategic partner as they move into the next phase of evolution.

When former Tourism Australia CMO Nick Baker joined RedBalloon in March as CEO, he quickly realised the tech company’s website simply wasn’t up to scratch. Given his expertise and background in creating unforgettable online user experiences, Baker wasted no time in going to market to identify a digital partner who could move RedBalloon from its humble beginnings, well into the future.

“RedBalloon started from independent, humble beginnings: Born in the front room of founding director Naomi Simson’s home, we felt it was vital to find an agency that reflected the RedBalloon values with people at their heart. Deepend are not only Australia’s largest digital independent agency, they are also leaders in digital innovation and were the clear choice for us,” said Baker.

Deepend founder and executive director, Matt Griffin, said: “Following the huge disruption RedBalloon has brought to the digital space, we have long viewed them as an ideal client.  We are genuinely delighted to be working with such an innovative and exciting brand across their next generation of growth.”
