Big Mobile Re-inks APN, Private Media & SCA deals

Big Mobile has re-signed its exclusive partnerships with Southern Cross Austereo, Private Media & APN Australia Regional Media.

The deals have been inked for a further 12 and 24 months continuing to support their premium publisher network and contributing to their overall reach of 95% of Australian adult smartphone users.

Big Mobile has also announced a further non-exclusive programmatic direct deal with Fairfax which will be available through their premium contextual category and audience led products.

Graham Christie, chief commercial officer and partner at Big Mobile said: “With a sector abundant with inferior audiences, premium publishers are looking to form strategic partnerships to deliver more potent audiences and at scale. The top 100 brands are also demanding these audiences with the efficiencies of more automated trading. We’re continuing to invest in ensuring we deliver the best mobile services, and these new and renewed exclusive partnerships is evidence of this.”

James Bayes, digital sales and operations director at Southern Cross Austereo said: “Mobile is a key business priority for us and we have been partnering with Big Mobile for the previous 4 years. Alongside their ad-suite innovation we’ve been impressed with their contextual & audience led products and how they map to our mobile audiences opening up more revenue opportunities for SCA and delivering better results for clients.”

“Sarah Husbands, general manager commercial business development at APN Australia Regional Media said: “We are very selective with who we work with and are confident in re-signing with Big Mobile to take to market our premium mobile properties and local audiences.”

Digital publisher Private Media which owns some of the country’s best known digital publications including Crikey, Property Observer, SmartCompany, StartupSmart, and The Power Index, has also re-partnered with Big Mobile’s premium publisher network.

Christie added: “Southern Cross Austereo, Private Media and APN Australia Regional Media are all market leaders in their respective fields and all are experiencing a surge in mobile traffic, so we are delighted to have them amongst our other premium partners including Optus, Ticketek, Future Media, Pandora Internet Radio and REA Group.”
