Whole magazines rely on them, brands spend oodles to get them on their side and social media almost breaks down when they get into a rough and tumble.

Celebrities dominate many corners of the media with their antics. However before some of Hollywood’s A-List stars were being hounded by the paparazzi, they had to find a way to break into acting and get their bills paid.

Here is the 80s hair and sultry winks from eight now famous celebs in their old TV commercials.

1. Meg Ryan

Before faking orgasms, Meg Ryan asks whether you’re hungry in a 1980s Burger King commercial.

2. Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck also joined the Burger King crew as a jock breaking all the rules to delight a young woman.

3. Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves had the balls to steal a spoonful of cornflakes in this Kellogg’s commercial.

He also had a spot in a 1980s Coke advert.

4.  Elijah Wood

The hobbit is really little in this commercial. Wonder if Elijah Wood still uses liquefied cheddar cheese on his greens.

5. Matt LeBlanc

Joey makes sauce look sexy in this old Heinz Ketchup Ad.

6. Leonardo DiCaprio

Before sacrificing himself to save Rose from drowning, Leonardo DiCaprio was a bubble blowing fanatic.

Brad Pitt almost makes the camera melt with that smoulder as the fever reliever in this Pringles ad.

8. Seth Green

Cannot stop looking at his hair.
