Vizeum has bolstered its senior leadership team, appointing Stephen Deane and Tom Cooper as General Managers in Sydney and Melbourne respectively.

Travis Day, (pictured above) national managing director of Vizeum, said, “This is a significant time for Vizeum. We’re in a period of strong growth and are entirely focused on developing a high performance culture where pace, mental agility, bold confidence and total participation is key. Both Tom and Stephen will add great depth and support to our incredible teams across Sydney and Melbourne.

“Stephen has the ideal attitude, leadership philosophy and experience to lead the Sydney business in this exciting time for the agency. He brings a balanced view of the marketplace having worked in senior positions within media agency environments ahead of spending the past 6 years holding significant CMO postings for local and global businesses.

Tom is a 20+ years marketing and communications consultant, with roles including Managing Director at Cowan, one of Australia’s leading strategic branding agencies, General Manager at George Patterson Y&R and senior leadership roles at The Campaign Palace and M&C Saatchi. He brings great experience and exceptional leadership skills to our team.”

Stephen Deane said, “Travis and the team have established a great foundation for Vizeum Australia, allowing for the growth of both a talented team and outstanding work for clients. I am delighted to be taking on the leadership of the Sydney operation.”

The hires come following a number of recent new business wins for Vizeum in Australia including the AFL, Energy Australia, Petbarn and Sukin.
