Following its Australian launch in October last year, Robb Report continues to bolster its local team with the finest editorial and sales talent in the industry.

Robb Report Australia has made three new appointments: Steve Colquhoun, former national editor of executive style at Fairfax Media, has joined the editorial team as digital editor. Patricia Connolly, former sales director at Bauer Media, has joined the sales team as director of sales and strategy. Marwan Rahme, founder and managing director of property, finance and wealth advisory firm Kanebridge, has joined the Robb Report Australia team as the property, investments and finance advisor.
As digital editor, Steve will be responsible for curating content tailored to the Australian market. Under Steve’s leadership for more than three years, executive style attracted more than three million page hits a month and an audience of more than 350,000. He has extensive experience in the world of luxury cars, watches, spirits, fine dining, business travel, and luxury goods.
In her role as director of sales and strategy, Patricia will be responsible for the direction and development of the business. Patricia brings with her 35 years of corporate experience from the publishing industry, largely at Bauer Media, where she was responsible for various aspects of managing titles such as Harper’s BAZAAR, Australian Gourmet Traveller and Qantas Magazine, which included launch and relaunch strategies, financial control, client relationship management and team development.
In his new role at Robb Report Australia, Marwan Rahme will be an advisor across property, finance and investment content. Marwan founded Kanebridge in 1999 as a full-service property investment house, offering property development, finance, sales, marketing, and wealth advisory services. Over the years, Marwan has grown the Kanebridge name and its reputation for identifying and securing property development sites with immense unlocked value. A respected figure in the property industry, Marwan has won a number of awards.
Commenting on the appointments, Robb Report Australia Editor-in-Chief Michael Stahl said, “We’re very pleased to welcome Steve, Patricia and Marwan to the team. With a proven track record, collectively, in leading Australian luxury titles and engaging audiences in the luxury market, their skills and expertise will help continue to cement Robb Report Australia as the authoritative title in the curation of the best in luxury, both internationally and locally and from a uniquely Australian perspective.”
Commenting on his new role, Steve said, “Robb Report is developing new digital capabilities with the aim of being at the forefront of the publishing industry online. I look forward to working with the team here and abroad to bring news of the best of the best in luxury to the Australian market, in the most accessible and engaging format online.”
Patricia said, “I’m very excited to be joining the Robb Report team at what is a pivotal time for the title. After a very successful five months since its launch in Australia, Robb Report Australia is going from strength to strength and has attracted dozens of leading brands to its pages.”
In the local editorial team, Steve joins Editor-in-Chief Michael Stahl, Creative Director Justin Knights, Managing Editor Freya Purnell, Designers Caryl Joseph and Jay Abady, Sub-editor Jason Scullion and a team of contributing columnists, writers and photographers. In the local publishing and sales team, Patricia and Marwan will join National Sales and Marketing Director Lachlann Macdonald, Brand and Communications Director Elizabeth Walker, National Property and Partnerships Manager Nando Greco, Advertising Sales Executive Mat Faint, Director of Digital Strategy Brendan Byrne, Alison Slater in administrative support, Luke Scobie in business strategy, and Nathan Khoury in legal. The local team will work closely with the Robb Report global team.
Robb Report Australia is the 17th regional edition of this authoritative title. After 40 years in the international market, the Australian edition provides discerning readers with news of the finest cars, yachts, watches, wines, fashions, hotels and dining – produced and curated from an Australian perspective. Far from being a catalogue, Robb Report Australia celebrates the craftsmanship and the soul that distinguishes the luxury experience.
The current edition, Chinese Annual 2017, is a special bilingual issue celebrating the Year of the Rooster, and the best of Australian property, travel and leisure, including the best golf courses on both sides of the Tasman, the rise of the Gold Coast as a new luxury destination, and the high-end property attracting overseas buyers.
