Kym Richardson Appointed To Lead Surf Life Saving Queensland’s Media And Public Affairs

Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) has announced a new addition to the not-for-profit’ssenior management group.

Kym Richardson joins SLSQ in the newly created role of media and public affairs manager following more than 17 years in media and communications roles in Australia and abroad.

SLSQ chief executive officer John Brennan said, “The organisation is committed to leading by example and setting high benchmarks, and I congratulate Kym on her appointment to drive a forward thinking media and public relations strategy for SLSQ.

“I welcome Kym’s breadth of experience from many years working in commercial television in Australia, an international broadcast company based in Britain, and from roles in the tourism industry and consultancy.”

“It is a great honour to be appointed to lead such an iconic brand’s communications strategy,” Richardson said. “I look forward to achieving strategic and operational goals for the media and public affairs division.”
