Kraft In Pickle As Cheese Singles Recalled Due To Choking Hazard

Kraft cheese has issued a recall notice because around 36,000 cases of Kraft Singles cheese slices could put consumers at risk of choking on the cheesey goodness.

In a press release Kraft Heinz stated the recall applies to “individually-wrapped slices due to the possibility that a thin strip of the individual packaging film may remain adhered to the slice after the wrapper has been removed. If the film sticks to the slice and is not removed, it could potentially cause a choking hazard”.

The recall only applies to 3lb (1.3 kg) and 4lb (1.8kg) packages of Kraft singles with a Best When Used By Date of 29th December 2015 through to the 4th January 2016.

This isn’t the first time Kraft’s had to recall their products, back in March the company recalled 6.5 million boxes of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese because some of the boxes contained small pieces of metal.

The cheese is finally getting its revenge.
