Jack + bill Reveals Winners Of $30,000 Pro Bono PR support

Porter Novelli Australia’s pro bono offshoot, jack + bill, has revealed the winning Pozible crowdfunding campaigns to receive $30,000 fee equivalent PR support.

The four campaigns are:

Forage Cookbook: A charity cookbook and love letter to the state of Victoria, featuring the recipes of chefs from Victorian institutions including Cookie, Auction Rooms, Estelle Bistro, Charlie Dumpling, Cumulus Inc, Huxtable and many more. All proceeds go to Upside Nepal.

Danny Burrito: On-demand burrito delivery across Sydney-city via bike courier, tracked to your door in 15 minutes.

Olympic Nick: A Donutmentary: A short film about Nick Tsiligiris, a 76 year old doughnut maker at Footscray train station. Would the caravan disappear in the face of a $3.7 billion dollar rail project or would an old man’s passion for his doughnuts and community prevail?

The Rum Diary Bar Spiced Rum: Traditionally the drink of pirates and sailors, Fitzroy staple The Rum Diary Bar has created a locally made premium spiced rum product that everyone can enjoy.

Porter Novelli Australia chief executive Peter Kent said this year’s recipients exemplify the spirit of jack + bill and Pozible – celebrating unique ideas and inspirational projects ideally with a strong community focus.

Pozible co-Founder and director, Rick Chen, said he was excited to see the positive impact that jack + bill will have upon each of the crowdfunding campaigns.

“As we saw last year, PR can be vital in helping projects achieve their financial goals,” Chen said.

The announcement follows last month’s launch event which featured presentations from last year’s winners – Melbourne Bike Cabs, Foster Care Association Victoria and Bamboo Monkey.

The event was attended by a number of hopeful entrants and supported by Hither & Yon Winery and Coopers Brewery.
