Nichols said, “We conducted a global search to find the right candidate for the Woolworths Liquor Group GBD role.  We needed someone who was passionate about driving innovation through customer led insights and had extensive experience working with competing brand portfolios. We found the perfect candidate in Ewelina and were lucky enough to entice her back from New York.”

Speaking of her appointment, Jones shared, “After meeting with Dan and Georgie, I was aligned with their vision for Carat Sydney and was confident that their leadership would drive the successful realisation of that vision.  This role represents not only the opportunity to join this amazing media agency, but also the chance to work with a passionate and energetic team that continues to set the standard in this dynamic industry.”

Jones replaces Richard Smith who has been leading the account for the last two years and will be moving within Carat to further develop his leadership experience. Smith will head up a portfolio of brands including Freedom, Expedia, GWF and Omega Pharma.
