Duchess Of Cambridge Puts Journo Hat On, Becomes One-Day Guest Editor For HuffPost

The Huffington Post UK is about to get a royal makeover with the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton breaking out her journalistic talents to become a guest editor for a day.

Her day of reporting aims to raise awareness of the mental health of young children, and will happen sometime in mid-February.

According to The Huffington Post UK, who are no doubt beyond chuffed with the situation, some of the team will journey to Kensington Palace to put a spotlight on the work teachers, parents, researchers and professionals do when it comes to thinking about mental health in children.

“The Duchess of Cambridge has made the mental health of young children a key focus of her work in recent years. She is delighted that The Huffington Post will help put a spotlight on this important issue,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.

“The Duchess will be commissioning contributions from a number of leading figures in the mental health sector as well as from young people, parents, and teachers.”

HuffPost UK’s editor-in-chief, Stephen Hull, added: “We are thrilled that The Duchess of Cambridge is joining the HuffPost UK team for a day as a guest editor. Dealing with mental health issues has been a major editorial focus for us and I’m very excited to be working together on such an important project.”
