BOSSY. is the newest (and naughtiest) creative agency shaking things up in the world of writing, styling and social media.

Born in Melbourne, BOSSY. was founded by Alyce Cowell – a writer, fashion stylist and social media consultant with a colourful background.

In November 2010, Cowell landed “every girl’s dream job” when she won a nationwide competition of more than 1400 entrants to become The Westfield Insider, the retail giant’s official blogger, earning $100,000 to shop and blog for 12 months. Six years later, Alyce is still working with Westfield as a blogger, stylist, social media guru, presenter and media ambassador in mediums such as Today, Mornings, Cosmopolitan, WHO Magazine, the Sun Herald and more.

Outside of her Westfield role, Cowell is also a popular freelance fashion stylist, social media consultant, ‘Insta-blogger’ @alycealyce and writer – her features and cheeky opinion pieces appearing in publications such as Cleo, Mamamia, Fashion Journal and Who What Wear Australia.

BOSSY. was formed as a “goddamn breath of fresh air” to fashion retailers, hospitality venues, beauty salons and any other businesses in Melbourne and beyond that need “a sparkly new set of eyes” for their creative areas.

“It’s not an agency you would take home to meet your mum,” Cowell said.

BOSSY. has also begun building strong relationships with PR and digital agencies within Melbourne and beyond.

“We noticed the agencies we work with don’t always have the time, resources or skills to provide a lot of the amazing ideas they come up with.”

BOSSY. is the right hand to PR companies and digital agencies allowing them to scope a broader service offer and become a one-stop-shop for their clients.”

The creative agency will be focusing on three areas:

  • WORDS: including website copy, blog content, packaging, interviews and freelance writing
  • STYLE: for fashion brands and agencies, including lookbooks, blog and social content, campaigns, web stores and events
  • SOCIAL: one-on-one Instagram coaching, creative direction and tone of voice development and content creation
