Menulog Bolsters Australian Leadership Team

Following the recent acquisition of the Menulog Group by UK’s Just Eat, the business has announced two new senior appointments.  Kim Russell joins as marketing director, and Tasman Page as head of marketing.

They will lead marketing and brand strategy for the company’s portfolio of brands, including Menulog Australia, Menulog New Zealand and EatNow.

Russell is an accomplished senior marketer with a career spanning a range of industries. In her most recent role as chief marketing officer at QSR Holdings, she oversaw iconic Australian chicken brands Oporto, Red Rooster and Chicken Treat.

Prior to this, Russell was marketing director for Nando’s, where she was a key member on the executive board of directors and responsible for marketing strategy and brand vision.

Throughout her career, Russell has spearheaded numerous successful, high profile marketing campaigns, such as the launch of Nando’s loyalty program PERi-Perks with Katy Perry.

Commenting on her new role Russell said, “I’m very excited to be joining the Menulog Group at what is a really pivotal time for the business.

“I look forward to leading the vision for the future of the brands in Australia and New Zealand and am thrilled to be working with the team here and abroad, as well as our agency partners to bring the enormous potential of these brands to fruition.”

At Menulog, Russell will report to Barnaby Dawe, global chief marketing officer at Just Eat plc, Menulog’s parent company.

Tasman Page joins the business as head of marketing and will report to Russell.

Page is a senior marketer with experience across banking and finance at Commonwealth Bank, online share trading at Westpac and most recently retail, leading the digital marketing and loyalty strategy for Dick Smith.

“We have a huge opportunity with the Menulog and EatNow brands in Australia and New Zealand. As a data-rich business, our ability to understand our customers and restaurants will drive our growth. We are very excited to get stuck into it,” Page said.

Commenting on the appointments, Barnaby Dawe added, “We’re very pleased to welcome both Kim and Tasman to the Menulog Group, bringing with them experience in strategic vision and a proven track record in leading creative and innovative large scale initiatives.  Their skills are well suited to lead Menulog’s marketing efforts as we continue to maintain our industry leading position and invest in our brands.”
