There’s a new coffee brand in Melbourne, Territory Melbourne Coffee, which aims to raise the already-high coffee benchmark.

Territory Melbourne Coffee is a fresh and thoughtful hand crafted product that captures the essence of origin, produce and person. The creative reflects the brand beginning with the word mark where the letterforms merge and are tightly knit. These represent the integration of the Territories that come together, the overlap of these cultures and the vibrant personality of Melbourne.

The shape of the graphic extension is based on the map of Melbourne’s inner city suburbs with illustrations that define the individual territories. The stylized and abstract illustration plays on the shapes found in the architecture and landmarks within the corresponding suburbs. This eclectic mix of shapes and patterns form a unique graphic created for Territory Melbourne Coffee and tells the story of territories coming together, visually portraying Melbourne as a melting pot of cultures; representing the vibrant and energetic city that it is renown for.
