Magnum & Co Strengthens Senior Team With Two Appointments

Magnum & Co has announced the appointment of Amber Dermoudy (pictured above, left) to the newly-created role of head of strategy and digital, as well as the promotion of Rachel Wotherspoon (pictured above, right) to head of strategy.

Dermoudy joins the PR and marketing agency from General Assembly, where she has been teaching digital marketing. Prior to that, she held a series of leadership positions, including digital and social account director at One Green Bean.

Wotherspoon will be charged with ensuring all work, whether that be PR, social media, content, influencer marketing or experiential, dovetails cohesively while resting on a clear insight, with measurable outcomes.

Magnum & Co managing director Aaron Crowther (pictured above, centre) said: “These two roles are absolutely critical. They are cornerstones of the work we are pursuing – best in class and totally integrated.

“Our integrated marketing offering has grown dramatically over the last year. Rachel has been an important part of that, and having Amber join with her credentials means we can dial up the sophistication of our social and digital offering even further.”

Dermoundy said Magnum & Co has a compelling proposition that she connected with immediately.

“Magnum & Co is working with some of the world’s biggest brands across a number of markets, and being able to work with the leadership team in setting out what our social and digital approach should be as we grow is really exciting,” she said.

“I’m proud to be a part of a team that is serious about digital transformation.”

Wotherspoon added, “Over the past few years, Magnum & Co has truly become a strategic partner, less a supplier, to its clients.

“It’s an exciting time in that the data-rich marketing environment in which we now operate allows us to be smarter in our approach from insights through to measurement, with digital playing a key role. We’ve built a solid team and a fantastic culture for the business.”
