Handle Branding Nabs Three Trophies At Asia-Pacific Transform Awards

Handle Branding’s work with NSW Health WSLHD on the Womens & Newborns Health Brand was awarded two Silvers and a Bronze Award at last night’s Transform Awards Asia-Pacific; a Silver for the Best Creative Strategy and Best Visual Identity in Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals Sector, and a Bronze for Best use of Typography.

The awards consistently set a stronger benchmark for work in brand development while reflecting the growing significance of brand in strategic corporate communications. The corporate brand – and its implementation, positioning and creativity – has become one of the most valuable assets a business owns.

With shortlisted companies from Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Cambodia, countries all across the continent of Asia, this evening has proven there is much to be celebrated in Asia-Pacific. The awards, held at Harbour Grand Hotel, was hosted by Vivek Mahbubani.

Michael Schepis, creative director of Handle Branding, says the awards are a huge honour considering the infancy of the company.

“We are more than honoured to even be considered for the awards let alone win three in one night. Handle Branding is less then two years old based out of Parramatta, Western Sydney and to win these awards it’s a real encouragement,” he said.

Andrew Thomas, publishing editor, Transform magazine added, “We are proud to host an evening where all those in the branding community can celebrate and take pride in all that they have achieved and contributed. Each brand that has been involved in this year’s awards, global or local, has demonstrated outstanding creative ability and strategic thought whilst working closely and collaborating with their agencies.”

The judges were impressed by the projects they reviewed and commented on the quality of the submissions and the award winning work which they found inspirational. They commended creative agencies for finding solutions to their clients’ challenges and approaching change from a variety of different angles. The collaboration between agencies and clients was often fundamental and well carried out, producing stunning results.
