The agency will be responsible for story ideation, communications strategy, content development and media relations, and support client in-house PR teams with idea generation and media outreach.

“We are proud to be appointed as partners to such an exciting mix of brands, with each of these companies  doing very interesting work  – we are delighted to be working with each of them,” said Espresso Communications CEO, Corrie McLeod.

“We look forward to helping our clients navigate the rapidly changing media landscape and meet their business objectives with high impact results.”

Following the new client wins, Espresso has made strategic hires to support the new account teams and to continue to drive organic growth across the business. Biana Chamlet joins Espresso as senior account director and has previously held a blend of agency and in-house roles in Australia and London across 12 years. Most recently, she was the APJ PR manager at NetSuite, a US-based, cloud business software company.

Prior to this, Chamlet worked with various enterprise software and hardware vendors in agencies and in-house, including SAP, HP and Dell. Chamlet will provide strategic counsel to clients, leveraging her experience in traditional media outreach, social media engagement, event management, message development, senior spokesperson training and writing.

Also joining the Espresso team in a senior account director role is Cameron Donovan. Based in Melbourne, Donovan is an award-winning consultant and a proven ‘PR all-rounder’, having worked with leading agencies in Sydney, Newcastle and Melbourne, across government, corporate and consumer sectors. His specific industry experience includes banking and finance, technology, property, government, not-for-profit, travel and leisure, minerals and resources.

Laura Rae joins the company as an account coordinator, and will support the team on client activities such as reporting, media monitoring, event coordination and social media management.

“We are thrilled to welcome Biana, Cameron and Laura on board during this exciting period of growth for the agency. Their respective experience and expertise will enable us to support our clients in visualising their stories in a valuable, relevant and engaging way,” said McLeod.

“We have two additional open positions at the Consultant and Account Manager levels, and are actively looking to add some great practitioners to our agency as we continue to grow and diversify.”

“It is a great opportunity for someone who wants to broaden their industry knowledge and gain experience working with our extensive network of media, analyst, start-up and government contacts.”
