Men Pose With Their Beer Guts In These German Ads

In a homage to Annie Leibovitz’s 1991 Vanity Fair cover of a pregnant Demi Moore, German brewery Bergedorfer Bier has released some amusing print and outdoor ads celebrating men’s beer bellies.

Hamburg-based advertising agency Jung von Matt/Alster are the brains behind the campaign showing topless men posing with their beer bellies as if they’re pregnant. The ads do communicate pretty clearly that guys love their Bergedorfer beer. “Brewed with love” is the tagline.

Each of the three ads shows a man holding and gazing lovingly at his beer belly—a tender moment between man and belly.
