M&C Saatchi Tops B&T’s Table of Bravery For Rudey Swim

For a supposedly brave industry it appears Sydney’s creatives – minus M&C Saatchi – are a bunch of wimps.

Record numbers have signed up for this year’s Sydney Skinny, which takes place at Cobbler’s Beach on Sunday, but despite B&T’s Table of Bravery campaign, Australia’s creatives have been positively prudish.

Only M&C Saatchi has proved it’s got front, back and sides with five of its team daring to bare – executive creative director Ben Welsh, senior digital producer Anthony Harca, product engineer Roger Calaf and two female members.

Welsh told B&T: “We’re an agency that believes in creating an impact – usually while remaining clothed.”

Some of the best excuses we’ve heard to NOT do the Nudie Juice-sponsored swim are, “it might be too cold”, “my wife gets jealous”, “I’ve just had a boob job”, “I’m scared there will be snorkelers”, “I’m always hungover on Sundays”, and “I’d rather eat my cat than let anyone in the industry see me naked”.

Here at B&T we’re marching to the beat of our own bum and braving the shallows, along with various team-members from oOh! Media, The Leading Edge, Fit Media and Inlight Media.
