Leo Burnett Melbourne has been appointed creative agency of record for the City of Melbourne, effective immediately.

The appointment follows a competitive pitch, with a remit that included strategic, creative and digital work across both corporate brand and destination marketing.

City of Melbourne is responsible for delivering outcomes in the community and in the economic realm through council’s focus on creating and supporting an inclusive, vibrant and prosperous city.

Its ambition is to be bold, agile and data-driven, and to remain locally loved and globally recognised. This approach is at the heart of the marketing communications strategy that will connect council ambition with citizens and visitors.
