Seven’s Farmer Wants A Wife continues to prove romance isn’t dead with viewers anointing it the most watched entertainment show for Tuesday.
The loved up rural lovebirds managed 507,000 viewers according to OzTAM metro numbers.
That left its rivals, 10’s I’m A Celebrity with 435,000 and Nine’s (once invincible) Lego Masters with just 411,000.
Seven took honours for the night with 29.3 per cent of all of last night’s eyeballs (all channel). Nine did 27.5 per cent, ABC took the bronze with 17.5 per cent, while 10 will be ruing its chances with 17.4 per cent. SBS had the rest and 8.4 per cent.
Seven’s 6pms news was the most watched show of the evening with 897,000. Nine’s bulletin had 790,000, while ACA did 644,000.
10’s The Project posted 248,000.
Other standouts for Seven were The Chase (479,000) and Home And Away (446,000).
Nine also did well with Hot Seat (351,000) , a (spluttering seeing how good it is) David Attenborough’s Frozen Planet (254,000) and Tipping Point (220,000).
The ABC’s evening went thus: 7pm news (541,000), 7.30 (440,000), Great Australian Stuff (376,000) and The Secret Lives Of Our Urban Birds (243,000).
