Sydney independent experience agency The Misfits has snared a place in the NSW government’s advertising and digital communications services scheme.

The appointment will allow The Misfits (publisher of B&T) – which already works extensively with a number of councils and LGAs – to provide the NSW government with its expertise and experience in content creation, creative advertising, marketing communications services and film production.

The scheme is aimed at creating ease of use for NSW government departments and to source approved suppliers for a range of marketing communications services.

The Misfits was accepted into all nominated categories and are now a pre-qualified service provider to all government agencies. The categories include visual communications, production and marketing and campaign services.

The visual communications category encompasses branding and identity, concept development (non-advertising campaign), graphic design and illustration.

The production category includes animation, concept development, film editing, filmography, photo editing, photography, video editing and videography.

And, the marketing and campaign services category incorporates strategic behavioural change services, brand development and management, creative campaign development and implementation (advertising campaign), direct/email marketing and experiential marketing.

Chlöe Noel De Kerbrech (pictured above), managing director at The Misfits, said the agency has a heritage of producing innovative work for a number of government agencies, LGAs and councils, and is excited by the opportunity that the NSW government scheme presents.

“We can’t wait to get in there and start making a difference,” she said.

“With 35 creative, technology, content and production specialists in our business, The Misfits family is ready for the growth this win will bring.”

The win continues The Misfits’ solid path of growth over the last 12 months, having snared several other new clients as well as making a key senior hire.

The Misfits is a full-service, solutions-based agency creating brand stories and customer connections. It offers owned channels to market and creative, digital and event services. To find out more, check out the video below and then click here.
