PRIA And IPRA Sign Partnership Agrement

The Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) has signed a partnership agreement with IPRA, the International Public Relations Association. Under the agreement the organisations will exchange information, share publications, and help promote the ethical development of the PR profession.

Leigh McClusky, PRIA National President commented: “The Public Relations Institute of Australia is delighted to officially partner with the International Public Relations Association.

“Now more than ever, we are witnessing the need for targeted, compelling and effective communication, as communities across the globe attempt to deal with the evolving communication challenges of the covid-19 pandemic. As a profession we are stronger when we are united and we welcome the opportunity to create stronger bonds with our colleagues around the world,” McClusky said.

IPRA President Philippe Borremans added: “We offer a warm welcome to our Australian communication colleagues and are delighted they are now part of the International Public Relations Association global family. We are looking forward to collaborating even more closely with PRIA and its members to tackle the many challenges of 2021. I am already looking forward to our first joint initiative.”
