Dentsu Queensland Boosts Executive Team With New Appointment

Christ Ernst, Managing Director of Dentsu Aegis Queensland, has announced the appointment of Toby Shaw as Director of Data & Analytics for iProspect Qld.

This latest appointment follows the announcement in June of Cameron Law joining as Strategy Director, Carat Queensland.

“Toby is an exceptional talent in the data and analytics field. His experience in establishing enterprise level data and analytics frameworks will be a huge asset to our partners moving forward. And most importantly he’s a wonderful person, we’re thrilled to have him on board” Chris said.

Toby began his career as a Data Scientist in London before moving to Australia 5 years ago. Prior to joining Dentsu, Toby spent 3.5 years leading the analytics team nationally for Reprise Australia, IPG Mediabrand’s digital agency.  In his time at Reprise Toby lead the development and implementation of the data and analytics frameworks for clients including Bunnings, Target, and Myer.

“The appointments of Cameron and Toby highlights the focus on our investment in key talent in the market and will strengthen our ability to support clients strategically, from measurement, data and analytics, through to strategy and comms,” Chris added.

Toby Shaw said, “I’m delighted to be joining iProspect and the wider Dentsu team, and am excited to bring our market-leading data & analytics offering into the Queensland market. The industry is currently going through a period unlike anything we have experienced before, which means there is a need for data to show us exactly how the world is changing. I will be helping our clients use marketing science to understand how their customers are evolving, and what opportunities for growth and efficiency that provides.”

The appointments coincide with a recent run of new partnerships for Dentsu Qld, having signed Real Estate Institute of Queensland and Lorna Jane (data & analytics).
