Blunt Agency Reappointed Lead Creative For G.J. Gardner Homes

Aussie homebuilding company G.J. Gardner Homes has reappointed Blunt Agency as its lead creative agency.

Blunt won the account in 2016 following a competitive pitch against three other agencies, and launched the ‘Your trusted locals’ campaign.

Brent Nolan, director of Blunt, said the campaign enabled G.J. Gardner Homes franchisees to own the market position of where they live and solidify their personal connection to their community.

“The strategy and creative identifies what makes G.J. unique in the market, leveraging this to enabling one of Australia’s largest building groups to connect with communities with personalisation, relevance and authenticity,” he said.

More recently, Blunt Agency launched the #MostTrusted campaign for G.J. Gardner Homes – a continuation of the ‘Your trusted locals’ brand journey.

Peter Love, general manager of G.J. Gardner Homes, said: “What excites us about the #MostTrusted position developed by Blunt Agency is how it has become more than a campaign for our franchisees.

“It’s an ongoing reminder of who we need to be to our customers.

“Blunt Agency’s ability to create brand platforms from which each and every franchise in the network has been able to leverage, localise and bolster their reputation in their local area has been a significant outcome of the engagement with us here at G.J. Gardner Homes.

“And this has strongly contributed to two consecutive record-breaking years for the brand, with home sales up by 24 per cent in a market that has slightly contracted in recent times.”
