Wingman Events & Brand Activation To Help Bring US Fun Run Down Under

Canadian events and marketing group 365 Sports Inc. has signed on Bondi event gurus Wingman Events & Brand Activation to produce its first Australian series of 5K Foam Fest, one of the most popular fun runs in North America.

The first tour down under for 5K Foam Fest will bring mucky fun to Aussies over the 2018-19 summer.

As the Australian event partner, Wingman will spearhead the planning, logistics and project management of the coming series, with scouting locations already under way.

Chris Toward, director of Wingman Marketing, said it was a dream partnership for the company.

“We’ve already spent time in Canada with the 365 Sports team at 5K Foam Fest. They’re awesome to work with and the event is everything that Aussies will love in an obstacle course,” he said.

“Summer 2018 is going to be big and we’ve already started working on the foundations of the tour.”

Jesse Fulton, founder and president of 365 Sports Inc. said: “We’ve been running 5K Foam Fest for four years and we now run it in 25 locations across Canada and the USA. Australia has a natural synergy with Canada, so we’re thrilled to bring 5K Foam Fest there next year.

“When we were searching for an Australian partner, Wingman came highly recommended. When we finally met the Wingman team, we knew immediately that their work was of a high calibre and they would integrate seamlessly with our team to create a successful working partnership.

“Chris has spent time with us in Canada for a foam soak, so we know when 5K Foam Fest lands next year it will be an awesome experience for everyone who comes along.

“5K Foam Fest has 22 obstacles that will keep the Aussies moving. They’ll run, climb, slide, jump, but most of all have fun. It’s wet, it’s muddy, there’s 2.5 million cubic feet of foam and a mega slide. We can’t wait to get there and show everyone a great time.”
