Village Roadshow Partners With MuleSoft To Personalise Entertainment Experiences

SaaS company MuleSoft has announced that its Anypoint Platform will be deployed by entertainment company Village Roadshow to personalise entertainment experiences for customers across digital channels.

By taking an API-led connectivity approach, Village Roadshow will be able to build an application network where applications, data and devices on the network become pluggable and reusable using the platform.

Geoff Spicer, group general manager for technology and services Village Roadshow, said MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform was identified as the ideal solution following a market review undertaken in conjunction with Capgemini.

“We believe that the Anypoint Platform is a better solution to custom code, as we continue to enhance the entertainment experiences we offer to our customers which will help us build customer loyalty and derive greater value from IT assets,” he said.

“We brought in Capgemini to help us evaluate alternative approaches to connectivity and ultimately decided on MuleSoft because of Anypoint Platform’s built-in security and monitoring capabilities and its hybrid functionality.

“Furthermore, MuleSoft has proven experience supporting high-volume transactions from other well-known consumer-facing enterprises.”
