Award School SA Names Cristina Muffatti As Top Student

Cristina Muffatti has been awarded Top of Class at South Australia’s 2016 AWARD School graduation ceremony, which took place at The Bunka at The Austral Hotel, in Adelaide last night.

Muffatti was among nine students who were tutored by representatives of KWP!, Nation, Jamshop, Showpony, The Distillery and More Space For light.

Before a crowd of industry professionals and supporters, AWARD school head Matt O’Grady of KWP! Advertising congratulated the class of nine graduates on completing the 12 week intensive course. He said: “This year’s AWARD School was a tight race with at least three students earning near identical scores. But in the end, it was a couple of key pieces from Cristina along with her consistently high standard of work that nudged her into the top spot. Having said that, I was encouraged to see that each student had their moment of brilliance and they should take that as an endorsement of their creative talents and a foundation from which they can further develop their skills.”

Thanking this year’s tutors for their contribution, he added: “Adelaide has a much smaller talent pool than our Eastern counterparts so we rely on a loyal band of tutors to generously give their time and energy year after year. It was good to see a couple of new faces this time round and we’ll be extending an invitation to some of Adelaide’s smaller and upcoming agencies to share their creative wisdom in 2017.”

A full list of AWARD School tutors can be found here.

This is the third graduation ceremony to take place in Australia this year, with events in Brisbane and Perth to follow in the next two months.

AWARD School is also currently running in Auckland, with the graduation set for October.
