News Media Works Announce Finalists For 2016 PANPA Advertising & Marketing Awards

Finalists for this year’s prestigious annual PANPA Advertising & Marketing Awards were announced today for news media publishers from around the Asia-Pacific region.

The PANPA Advertising & Marketing Awards seek to recognise and celebrate advertising and marketing campaigns created by the news media industry, as well as creative, sales and marketing teams in Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific and Asia.

The awards are presented in conjunction with the annual industry conference, Future Forum.

NewsMediaWorks’ chief executive Mark Hollands said, “The calibre of entries for this year’s Advertising & Marketing Awards was outstanding, with a range of submissions from across the region. It made selecting the winners a very challenging decision for our judges. Congratulations to all the finalists in a very competitive field.

“The awards recognise the outstanding talent and work that is reshaping how the news media industry markets and sells itself to readers, advertisers and media agencies.”

The Advertising categories recognise publishers’ in-house work only, while both agency and in-house executions are eligible for the Marketing categories.

Winners for the 2016 Advertising & Marketing Awards will be announced on Thursday 1 September at a cocktail event at the Art Gallery of NSW in Sydney, hosted by media personality James Mathison.
