Nova Entertainment Appoints Digital Commercial Director

NOVA Entertainment has announced the appointment of Nicole Bence to the role of digital commercial director.

Bence will help devise the strategic plan to continue to commercialise NOVA Entertainment’s digital audience and environments. Using her in-depth understanding of trends, changes and opportunities in the evolution and development of digital products, as well as audience and customer requirements, she will help the commercial sales team to create market leading solutions for agencies, clients and partners.

Peter Charlton, NOVA entertainment group sales director said, “Nicole has the perfect experience to lead us in our ambition to deliver market leading digital advertising and content solutions for our clients and help them engage with our rapidly growing digital audience. Her obvious thought leadership and passion for commercialising cross platform campaigns makes her an ideal addition to our sales leadership team as we continue to create digitally led branded content.”

With a media career extending over 15 years, and experience across magazines, events, digital and branded content, most recently Bence was the Sales and Strategy Director for NewsLifeMedia’s Food and Family division. Having held the roles of Marketing Manager for EMAP Publishing, Director and Founder for the sales agency Black Chopper and Group Sales Director for SheSpot, in December 2012 she joined NewsLifeMedia as Group Sales Director. Two years later Bence became the Head of Brand Strategy and in July 2015 was promoted to her current position.

Nicole will report directly to Peter Charlton, NOVA Entertainment’s group sales director, and will commence in the role on 2 May 2016.
