MEA Mobile At The Forefront Of Google Wallet Apps

MEA Mobile, a product lab & creative agency based in NZ and USA, is amongst the list of businesses whose apps have launched with Google Wallet.

MEA Mobile’s photo printing app –Printicular– is among a shortlist of apps to offer the Google Wallet cashless payment system to its Android users. Printicular app allows users to select, pay and print photos direct from their mobile device.

Google Wallet turns phones into wallets, allowing for secure online payments as well as tap-and-pay transactions through integrated NFC technology. It securely stores credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, loyalty cards and offers, and allows users to shop online and send money.

While the service is limited to US users, MEA mobile hopes to bring the benefit of its expertise to the Australian market.

“As much as possible, consumers are demanding a pain-free, cash-free experience,” says David King, managing director of MEA Australia. “Servicing overseas clientele –particularly the US market – gives us the opportunity to be at the forefront of emerging trends in technology and bring that back to our local clients.”

“This technology opens doors to a bright digital future for industries such as banking and retail in Australia,” according to King.
