Will Ferrell Nails It As Hilarious, Gigantic Handed Happiness Guru In New Bank Ads
Will Ferrell may have suffered the ignominy of a few movie flops of late (the recent and painfully unfunny Holmes & Watson a case in point), but he appears to have redeemed himself in a series of riotous ads for Danish digital bank brand, Lunar.
Ferrell plays happiness guru/lifestyle coach, Will Power, as he aims to demonstrate how easy it is to get your finances in order with Lunar’s easy-to-use app.
Blond wigs and crazy costumes aside, it’s Ferrell’s (Power’s) ridiculously oversized hands that ultimately steal the show.
The spot’s are the work of Stockholm-based creative agency Åkestam Holst/NoA and were directed by American Jake Szymanski best known for his Saturday Night Live work.
The campaign includes a series of TVCs and an outdoor iteration, too. Check out Ferrell as his hilarious best below.
