The Weekly With Charlie Pickering season six premiered on ABC last night to decent numbers, with 611,000 Aussies tuning in, according to OzTAM metro.
The Weekly with Charlie Pickering is a news satire series that premiered on 22 April 2015, featuring Charlie Pickering as host with Tom Gleeson, Adam Briggs and Judith Lucy in the cast who joined the series in 2019, replacing Kitty Flanagan.
Over at 10, MasterChef was the golden ticket in entertainment once again with 1.01m tuning in, while Nine’s best was Hot Seat (670,000), and Seven’s was The Chase (684,000).
10 took the crown across all channels with 25.1 per cent, Nine did 24.6 9 per cent, Seven did 23.9 per cent, ABC did 17.7 per cent and SBS did 8.7 per cent.

The Project did 657,000 and 10 News First did 501,000.
Seven
News did 1.26m, Home & Away did 627,000, and Britain’s Got Talent did 434,000.
ABC
News did 843,000, 7.30 did 682,000 and Hard Quiz did 711,000.
Primary channel share
10 narrowly won the night with 17.9 per cent, Nine did 17.7 per cent, Seven did 16.7 per cent while ABC did 13.6 per cent and SBS did 5.5 per cent.
