Telehealth platform Hola has announced four C-level appointments as it gears up for its next phase of international expansion.
Joining the leadership team are Anthony Molloy, chief commercial officer, Andy McKeon, chief marketing officer, Tristan Cheal, chief financial officer, and Emily Rich, executive director.
These appointments come as Hola has seen more than five times revenue growth over the past 18 months and a six times increase in transactions, now handling thousands of daily transactions through the platform.
“Hola Health is on a mission to revolutionise healthcare accessibility, and we’ve brought in a team of leaders with the passion, vision, and incredible experience to drive that forward. Anthony, Andy, Emily, and Tristan have each made tremendous impacts in their respective fields, and we’re thrilled to have them join us as we continue to grow,” said Lenin Rajendran, co-founder and CEO of Hola Health.
Molloy has over 20 years of sales leadership and strategic business development experience across Australian digital brands and has driven revenue growth at companies like Healthengine, LinkedIn, iSelect, and News Digital Media. At Hola, Anthony will focus on expanding the sales and partnerships strategy, building the GP partner network, and driving growth in new service areas.
“I’m excited to help scale Hola Health by leveraging strategic partnerships to improve healthcare accessibility,” said Molloy. “There’s a real opportunity to reshape how patients and GPs engage, and I’m passionate about driving growth that directly impacts patient outcomes”.
McKeon worked on launches like the iPhone, iPad, and Siri at Apple, and was part of the team that monetised Instagram at Meta and built products like Facebook’s video player and Marketplace. At Wieden+Kennedy, he crafted award-winning marketing campaigns for Nike and served as the chief marketing officer for the US Ski and Snowboard Team, part of the US Olympic Committee.
McKeon’s expertise spans creative storytelling, digital transformation, customer acquisition, events, and brand marketing. Recently, he guided the AI Foundation in California on its global go-to-market strategy. He’s a mentor and investor in the startup community, serving on boards, advising companies, and investing as a Limited Partner at Blackbird. He’s also co-founded an Angel Fund to support promising startups.
At Hola Health, McKeon will focus on building the brand’s storytelling and marketing efforts to fuel customer acquisition and growth.
“Our goal at Hola is to build the best telehealth platform in the world. We’ll use the lessons from Silicon Valley to outsmart, not outspend, and ensure our marketing efforts resonate with patients. We’re scaling an Aussie startup with real impact, and it’s exciting to be part of such meaningful work,” said McKeon.
With a track record in telehealth, software startups, and investment management, Tristan Cheal was previously CFO at Coviu and worked on the acquisition of Clipchamp by Microsoft and the acquisition of Gurtin Municipal Bond Management by PIMCO. At Hola, Tristan will build out the finance and accounting team, support capital raising, and prepare the company for its next phase of growth.
“The future of healthcare is digital, and Hola is leading the way as Australia’s first truly on-demand telehealth provider. The opportunity is substantial, and I’m excited to be part of a team that’s not just responding to demand but shaping the future of healthcare,” said Cheal.
Emily Rich has over a decade of technology industry experience as a founder, operator, and investor. Rich co-founded an AI company and, as former managing director of Microsoft for Startups APAC, supported thousands of startups and developed partnerships resulting in significant strategic co-sell opportunities. At Hola, Emily joins the board and leadership team to provide strategic guidance, leverage her network, and drive the company’s growth and international expansion plans.
“I’m thrilled to be joining at this pivotal moment. Hola Health isn’t just expanding into new markets; they’re reimagining the future of healthcare. As we grow, we’re setting new standards for what patients can expect from their healthcare experience – immediate, personalised, and truly patient-first care,” said Rich.
The appointment of these seasoned executives comes as Hola Health prepares to scale its offerings to meet the growing healthcare needs of patients across Australia and abroad.
