Salesforce Supports Mardi Gras As Major Partner

Salesforce Supports Mardi Gras As Major Partner

For the first time Salesforce will be a Major partner at the year’s Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

Salesforce is proud to be supporting the festival, sharing the organisation’s key value of equality and encouraging others to be visible, vocal and proud.

Salesforce area VP enterprise sales ANZ Barry Dietrich said: “At Salesforce, we believe that businesses can be powerful platforms for social change and that our higher purpose is to champion equality for all.

“We’re extremely proud to be a part of Mardi Gras this year, and we cannot wait to support alongside our LGBTQI+ community, allies, and employees”.

As well as having a float in the Mardi Gras parade, Salesforce will also be at Fair Day on Sunday 17 February.

The company will celebrate with over 80,000 people, all coming together in Victoria Park to celebrate with the LGBTQI+ community.

Salesforce is also partnering with JOY 94.9, Australia’s out, loud and proud radio station.

The team from JOY 94.9 will join Salesforce on the float and live-stream the event, and is just one of the organisations Salesforce is proud to already support across APAC.

Salesforce employees in Melbourne will use their paid volunteer hours to digitise JOY 94.9’s extensive music library and record their community announcements, and Salesforce is proud to extend this partnership for the Mardi Gras festival.
