Growth trajectory continues for independent agency Connected with four new clients wins.

Impressively for each client, Connected has been appointed to drive significant growth via digital transformation and paid digital media.

The new clients are:

  • IMB Bank
  • Octet
  • My Plan Manager
  • Forever Projects

Connected, founder and CEO, Laura Hamod Barnes (main photo), said: “Coming into 2020 we had solid momentum and had invested in our team and our technology, ready for growth.

“When lockdown hit and the whole market was in a state of flux, I didn’t expect the momentum to continue. However, in the last eighteen months, we are seeing more and more brands seeking out our specialist skills – digital transformation, performance media, data and analytics.

“We pride ourselves on over-servicing our clients and delivering a different agency experience. We work with clients who are looking for a trusted partner to help grow their business.

“We are excited by the opportunity to drive results and make a difference for our new clients.”

Head of marketing at Octet, Duncan Khoury, said: “Connected is the perfect agency fit for a brand like Octet, allowing us to have a direct line to senior management expertise when needed, whilst also having a high standard of knowledge at the account director and manager level.”

Commenting on the competitive agency pitch, Khoury added: “I am really happy that we went through that process. I now have confidence that we can drive growth across our core digital metrics, and of course, a enjoy a great partnership too.”

Interestingly, IMB Bank’s original competitive pitch was put on hold as the bank focused on its merger with Hunter United in 2020 and was revived again this year.

Connected is now responsible for all paid digital media including SEM and social for the bank. Connected will also be responsible for all paid digital media for Australia’s largest NDIS plan management provider, My Plan Manager.

Hamod Barnes added: “Since our agency launched in 2012, most of our business has come via referral. My Plan Manager approached us after we were recommended as performance marketing specialists by one of our clients.

“Our teams have quickly hit the ground running and we’re excited about the opportunities ahead. Similarly, Connected was recommended to Forever Projects, and Founder and Director, Mark Dombkins approached Connected earlier this year.

Dombkins said: “Connected has generously guided our team to build the digital infrastructure we need. We’re extremely grateful for this partnership with Connected and can’t wait to implement some exciting new media strategies together in 2022!”

In September, Connected raised more than $7,000 for Forever Projects to support women in Tanzania to break the cycle of poverty and create a self-sustaining future.s

The four new clients announced are the latest in a slew joining the Connected fold following a period of solid growth, including Success Resources Global, White Wolf, FitNutrition, WalkerCorp, Skinstitut, SkinKandy, and Apex Tool Group.
