Former Publicis Mojo account director and strategist Toni Ambler, now managing director TTC Tour Brands Oceania, has taken out the Woman of the Year and No.2 on the Power List in the Women in Travel Awards 2024.
Ambler was at Publicis Mojo until 2009 where she started as account manager in 2003 before heading to Contiki holidays, part of The Travel Corporation stable.
Ambler is a second-generation travel professional, her father having worked for Contiki across Europe in the early days, so travel is in her blood. An opportunity to work in London with Contiki fulfilled a childhood dream fostered by her father who led coach tours.
An impressive role model for young women in the travel industry, Ambler manages her senior role at The Travel Corporation group with an ongoing contribution to the health of the industry and an constantly inquisitive nature about the next destination. She is also mother to three young girls.
Amber has deep expertise in fostering robust trade relationships and guiding strategic initiatives that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Under Ambler’s leadership, TTC aims to strengthen its industry presence and deepen partnerships across ANZ, ensuring resilience and adaptability in the evolving travel market.
Ambler isn’t the only amazing woman to shape the travel industry. She is joined by leaders at Carnival, Intrepid, Albatross, Sydney Airport, Flight Centre, South Africa Tourism and more. Check out all of the winners of the Women in Travel Awards below.
