Hot on the heels of the Coopers Brewery account win, The Royals have hired Senior Creative team Nick Cole (left, pictured) and Pat Allenby (right, pictured).

The creative team responsible for the ‘Uber Eats Australian Open Ambush’ campaign – which saw them awarded at every major award show, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, London International Awards, Spikes and AWARD among others – will work out of the Sydney office.

They’ve also worked on campaigns that have seen them encourage AFL players to wrestle in lettuce, get a little too intimate with the world’s best cricketers, make the fittest people give up fitness, and have an attractive cartoon horse educate punters about responsible gambling.

The Royals Executive Creative Director Seb Vizor said: “I couldn’t be happier to welcome Nick and Pat to The Royals. They’re among the most talented creatives working in Australian advertising right now, and they’re top guys to boot. Their work inherently captures culture, which has created work that people actually want to watch and engage in, so they’ll be a great fit for each of our clients’ businesses, from Coopers all the way to Coates Hire.”

Nick added: “Absolutely stoked to be joining The Royals. Not only are they all super talented, they’re a really lovely group of people as well. We’re really keen to help keep building the momentum here and make some solid work along the way.”

Pat said: “The Royals have all of the things we like to be surrounded by – nice people, hungry clients, inspiring leadership and a few beers in the fridge. We’re very excited to join the team and give it our all.”

The Royals’ clients include Coopers Brewery, Mercedes-Benz Vans, Athena Home Loans, Google, Spotify, Coates Hire, AustralianSuper, Carman’s, Bakers Delight, Charles Darwin University, BUPA, James Hardie, and Brewers Association of Australia.
