Burger King France is finally reopening its in-restaurant dining and to celebrate it’s unveiled a clever new spot that highlights the hygiene procedures it will have in place rather than the tastiness of its Whoppers.
And who better to steal a safety demonstration from than the airline industry!
The fun spot, by Burger King’s fabled creative agency Buzzman, shows the lengths the burger chain is going to to protect returning customers.
Admittedly, it’s in French, however, you should get the gist of what’s going on. Unless you’re already fluent in French, that is.

The ad comes in the same week that Burger King’s rival, McDonald’s, unveiled a very similar campaign, again in the French market.
Dispensing with the menu items, the Macca’s’ spot also plays on the actual restaurant and the hygiene measures it’s putting in place to tempt customers back in-store.
Both spots are probably harbingers of what we’ll see from brands in this post-lockdown era.
