Having just announced it’s snared famed Aussie creative Nick Law as its new VP of marcom integration, Apple’s capped off a stellar marketing week unveiling a super cool spot to promote its AirPod range of earphones.
The black and white spot’s called “Bounce” and plays out like a 60s French noir flick as we see the ad’s protagonist literally bounce around a rather dour looking cityscape.
Interestingly, the ad’s not the work of Apple’s in-house creative team but longtime agency TBWA\Media Arts Lab.
The ad was shot in Kiev in the Ukraine by director Oscar Hudson, who started his career shooting skate videos before moving onto music videos.
The whole thing’s set to the theme song I Learnt Some Jazz Today by 21-year-old Jamaican songwriter Tessellated. Check out the bouncy fun below…
