Former Seven star Andrew O’Keefe has spoken publicly for the first time since his arrest.
The Daily Telegraph reported that the former Quiz Show host spoke about his time in rehab and said: “This is a very different place. It’s very much a holistic view of one’s place in the world.
“That is to say that you do address issues of addiction and patterns of behaviour but you do it in a way that is very much focused on being a useful member of family and community.”
Allegedly O’Keefe is also focusing on his recovery by repeating affirmations into a mirror each day and doing a fairly rigorous exercise routine.
O’Keefe has pleaded not guilty to an array of charges over an alleged assault of a woman that took place in Sydney’s CBD and is now in rehab after finally being granted bail.
O’Keefe will be in rehab for the next six months and hopefully, he makes a full recovery. O’Keefe, of course, made his name by hosting quiz shows on Seven and co-hosting Weekend Sunrise. He was also known as being an ambassador for The White Ribbon charity.
